Job Description:

 I.   SUMMARY OF POSITION:

This senior-level financial role is primarily responsible for ensuring strict compliance with both Chinese (PRC GAAP) and United States (US GAAP) accounting standards and for leading the annual statutory audit. The incumbent will supervise the complete monthly financial closing process to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all reporting. To execute these core responsibilities effectively, the candidate must possess in-depth proficiency in manufacturing cost accounting and have proven experience collaborating with plant operations on forecasting and planning activities.​ The role also encompasses the management of freight and intercompany payables, fixed assets, the implementation of robust internal controls, and providing support for internal audits. Additionally, the position will coordinate various other accounting tasks and ad-hoc projects as required.

 

 

II.    DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES (End Results Expected):

  1. Supervise the monthly financial close, ensuring accurate journal entries, account reconciliations, timely reporting, and analysis of operating results.
  2. Manage accounting for freight, intercompany payables, and the fixed asset  (including investment analysis).
  3. Ensure compliance with PRC GAAP and US GAAP, and lead the annual statutory audit process.
  4. Manage the manufacturing standard cost system, including setting/updating standards (material, labor, overhead) and supporting RFQ processes.
  5. Collaborate with Plant Operations to prepare weekly/monthly forecasts and the annual plan.
  6. Implement internal controls and support internal audit activities.
  7. Perform and coordinate other general accounting tasks and ad-hoc projects as required.

  • Must be able to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to all levels including the highest levels of personnel in the Company in understandable terms.

  • Excellent verbal skills required to communicate, present ideas, concepts and solutions to all level of employees

 

 

  V. SCHEDULING AND PLANNING:

  • Must be able to schedule and organize time to efficiently complete tasks
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and to organize and prioritize workload

 

 

 VI. BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: 

Bachelor’s degree or above with major in Accounting and Finance. (preferably from 211/985 universities)

REQUIRED / MANDATORY EXPERIENCE: 

Over 12 years’ working experience in manufacturing finance

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Proficient in accounting principles, Tax regulation, cost management, financial plan and analysis. Skills in manufacturing environment using SAP system.

 

PRIORITIES: 

  • 1) Mastery of PRC & US GAAP and the ability to lead the annual statutory audit.
  • 2) Full ownership of the monthly financial close process and internal controls.
  • 3) Hands-on manufacturing cost accounting expertise and plant operations partnership experience.

 

 

OTHER SKILLS:

 

English CET 6 or above, fluent in English communication. Familiar with office software.
