Job Description:
  1. BASIC PURPOSE:
  • Being responsible for all technical aspects towards the Chinese customers.
  • Go to person for all application and concept related topics
  • Grow the number of viable projects with the customer and distributors
  • In turn, support the growth of the customer in terms of revenue and profit
  • Find out proper new markets and applications for company
  • Propose new product with big potential from company existing product commodity

 

 

  1. DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES (End Results Expected):

 

  • In collaboration with the account managers, the filed application engineer will be the major contributor in maintaining the technical relationship between customers, distys and Bourns.
  • The FAE will support the project PMs and account managers and will take responsibility for technical aspects related to active projects with the customers
  • The FAE will escalate in a timely manner when obvious that milestones or agreed actions are due or lacking
  • The FAE will support the leads generation by supporting as application expert, growing the network at the Chinese Consumer customers and understanding the customer better in the dedicated application fields
  • Plan, execute and follow up design reviews
  • Enable the right selection of programs viable for Bourns and the China customers
  • Support in process and quality aspects; coordinate activities
  • Lead regular technical reviews for competency exchange.
  • Willing to learn new products & market
  • Responsible for the technical market information gathering. Guide product line to develop suitable new products.

IV.       BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: 

Bachelor’s degree or above major in Electronics or Electro-Mechanics or Industrial Engineering   

 

 

TRAINING, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS: 

  •  Applications for all kinds of industrials
  •  More than 5 years’ experience with industrial and Automotive fields as FAE
  •  Experience in technical Sales and industrial and Automotive Market
  •  Experienced working in multicultural teams
  •  Fluent in Chinese and English; self-motivated & communication skills

 

V.        EQUIPMENT OPERATED:

Personal computer, office software (such as: MS/Word, MS/Excel and MS/PowerPoint), solid works .
