Job Description:

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Engineer is responsible for supporting the manufacturing, assembly, testing, and quality assurance of electronic components. This role ensures that production processes meet established standards for precision, reliability, and efficiency. The Engineer will also perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

 

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES (End Results Expected):

  1. Troubleshoot and equipment maintenance: diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  2. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment (EQ) to ensure reliability and reduce downtime.
  3. Perform in-depth analysis of production, testing, and maintenance data to identify root causes and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
  4. Provide advanced technical support to production teams, ensuring equipment stability and rapid resolution of operational disruptions.
  5. Develop, review, and optimize work instructions, maintenance procedures, and engineering/process documentation with a focus on standardization and efficiency.
  6. Drive cross-functional collaboration to identify and implement process optimization, automation, and equipment upgrade initiatives.

COMMUNICATIONS:

  1. Oral: Mandarin Chinese and good command of English.
  2. Written: Proficient in written Chinese and good command of English

 

BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or higher in electronics or mechanical engineering or related discipline from an accredited four-year college or university.

 

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

  1. Minimum 5 years experience in electronics manufacturing or similar environment.
  2. Proven experience in equipment troubleshooting or process improvement

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  1. Experience in SolidWorks or Inventor is preferred
