I.          BASIC PURPOSE:

We are seeking a proactive and creative Marketing Intern / Temporary Marketing Assistant to support the day-to-day activities of our Marketing function within the Power Division. This role will assist in developing marketing collateral, support distributor marketing campaigns, and help promote our products and capabilities across multiple channels.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a global, technology-driven marketing environment, particularly within electronics, renewable energy, EV, and AI sectors.

 

II.         DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES (End Results Expected):

 

  • Assist in updating and refining presentations, data sheets, and website content to ensure they meet brand standards.
  • Work with internal teams (Marketing, Engineering, Product Lines) to gather technical information and translate complex topics into clear marketing content.
  • Support the promotion of reference designs, online tools (e.g., calculators), new product launches
  • Assist in preparing materials for distribution partners and catalogue platforms
  • Help track campaign performance and contribute ideas for improvement
  • Support project coordination to ensure deadlines are met
  • Help monitor and optimize the website

 

III.        SKILLS:

 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinking with attention to detail
  • Ability to simplify technical concepts into clear messaging
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative

 

 IV.       COMMUNICATIONS:

 

ORAL: Strong oral communication that can communicate a high level of creative thinking.

 

WRITTEN: Creative writing style to ensure content is created that is consistent and attractive to targeted end customers.

 

 

  V.       SCHEDULING AND PLANNING:

 

  • Scheduling and planning is a key aspect to ensure campaigns are launched on time and all key activities are achieved and met.
  • High-level creative thinking and design capabilities - while monitoring budgets and business guidelines/policies.
  • Proficiency in turning projects around with tight timeframes and deadlines. 
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills and be confident with budgeting and project management

 

VI.        BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

EDUCATION: 

 

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, or a related field.

 

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: 

 

  • A self-starter who takes initiative, possesses strong organizational skills, and can handle tight deadlines.
  • We welcome candidates with a genuine passion for technology, electronics, or green energy.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Familiarity with social media management, SEO basics, and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar)

 

OTHER SKILLS:

 

  • Strong analytical, project management, visualisation and reporting skills.
