Job Title: BPS Leader - Continuous Improvement (CIP) Leader

Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven CIP Leader to champion continuous improvement initiatives and cost-saving strategies across our facility. This role is critical in elevating the site’s operational performance and aligning with the company's BPS (Bourns Production System) standards. The successful candidate will develop and drive structured action plans to embed continuous improvement as a daily mindset within the plant culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- BPS & CIP Leadership:
Lead the implementation of BPS and CIP methodologies to elevate the plant’s audit performance and overall excellence. - Employee Suggestion Program:
Collaborate with HR to accelerate the employee suggestion system. Ensure the documentation and process framework are applied effectively and generate measurable impact. - Support Ongoing Cost-Saving Projects:
Assist and challenge process owners on projects targeting process time optimization and raw material consumption reduction. - Automation Projects:
Support the execution of automation-focused PDCA projects. Work closely with project leaders to monitor progress and ensure timely completion of initiatives. - 5S & Waste Elimination Strategy:
Define and deploy a strategic PDCA approach for implementing 5S and Muda (waste) hunting across all production zones. Create and maintain a zone-by-zone improvement schedule. - Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Track and report on CIP initiatives, cost savings, and KPI improvements to management. - Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work alongside production, engineering, quality, and HR teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
- Solid knowledge of lean tools (5S, PDCA, Kaizen, Muda, etc.) and change management.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with BPS, Six Sigma, or similar systems is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and project tracking tools).
