Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for DFM analysis to ensure product robust design that meets process requirements and quality requirements.
  • According to Product & Flow Chart & Layout requirements, define equipment and tooling SPEC (including EOL, test items and standards provided by design team), provide equipment & mold & fixture supplier recommendation. Lead APQP process ie. flow chart, layout, PFMEA, Standard Operating Procedure, PPAP to ensure safe launch.
  • Responsible for equipment & mold & tooling technical review to ensure that meets the defined requirements. Responsible for equipment development schedule per project timing. Responsible for PR application and providing each stage acceptance as payment evidence (check business terms to meet the acceptance terms).
  • Responsible for equipment installation and try run. Manage all the open issues to be resolved (PDCA). Ensure equipment meets the process and health requirements. Responsible for the equipment pre-acceptance and handover to ME for final acceptance.
  • Support program manager for gate delivery and Quality team Q gate delivery.
  • Mass production support for process continuous improvement and quality solving.
  • Evaluate and provide cost to program team for cost module setup based on gate 1 K/O. Support sales team quotation to customer. Lead cost model setup for new product budgetary with design team together (before gate 1).
  • Responsible for ECN management post SOP.
  • Responsible for VAVE project.
  • Support design team for design optimization.
  • Other tasks assigned by manager.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education background ie. college/university degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic engineering or other engineering subject.
  • Familiar with plastic molding, SMT PCB and electrical welding process.
  • Systematic analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to motivate and develop individuals’ skills & behaviors. Good teamwork and cooperation.
  • IATF knowledge/experience is preferred.  Know PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA.
  • Ms Office, Ms Project experience.
  • Fluent in English is prefered.
