Job Description:

Summary:

This position reports to PDE supporting team section chief; is accountable for the MAG magnetic product structural design.

 

Essential duties and responsibilities : include the following, other duties may be assigned:

  1. Participate in project feasibility study, participate in project design.
  2. Responsible for the design of new product's appearance, structure, components and so on according to the design requirements.
  3. Tolerance analysis and DFMA (for manufacturing and assembly design) inspection.
  4. Participate in the evaluation of new product parts, mold review and trial production & tooling acceptance.
  5. Ability to perform theoretical calculations of case strength，familiar with structural simulation design

 

Qualification :

  1. Skilled use of 3D software ，such as ZW3D ,Pro/E and AutoCAD, skilled in engineering drawings and determine inspection standards.
  2. Basic mechanical design knowledge, familiar with relevant materials, mold and surface treatment process knowledge.
  3. Master plastic, sheet metal and casting parts design (Design for manufacturing); ensure the parts of simple design, high quality, fewer defects, low manufacturing cost, while the corresponding mold structure is simple, easy to mold manufacturing and processing.
  4. Master assembly design skills (assembly oriented design);
  5. Master tolerance analysis knowledge, can use tolerance analysis to optimize product design quality and solve the actual problems encountered in product development;
  6. Good command of English, Proficient in Office, CAD and other office software.
  7. Better is familiar with TS16949 Quality System and with the practical experience of implementing APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, Quality Control plan.
