Job Description:

 

 I.   SUMMARY OF POSITION:

 

This Financial Accountant role is a vital support position within the finance team, responsible for executing core accounting activities and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. The position actively participates in the monthly close process, handles accounts payable and cash management, and supports fixed asset accounting. A key aspect involves applying knowledge of both PRC GAAP and US GAAP to daily tasks and assisting with the annual statutory audit. The accountant will also provide crucial support in manufacturing cost accounting, collaborate with plant operations to compile data for forecasts and planning, and help implement internal controls. This hands-on role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional skilled in managing routine accounting operations while supporting broader financial processes and ad-hoc projects.

 

 

II.    DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES (End Results Expected):

  1. Participate in the monthly financial closing process, including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting the timely reporting of operating results.
  2. Handle accountants payable, cash and payment. Assist in fixed asset management, including maintaining records, supporting physical counts, and preparing related reports.
  3. Apply knowledge of PRC GAAP and US GAAP to daily work. Assist in the preparation for and coordination of the annual statutory audit.
  4. Support the manufacturing cost accounting process, including maintaining standard cost data, assisting with updates, and providing analysis for quotation requests (RFQ).
  5. Collaborate with the Plant Operations team to compile data for weekly/monthly forecasts and the annual operating plan.
  6. Help implement and monitor internal control procedures and provide support for internal audit activities.
  7. Perform general accounting tasks and assist with ad-hoc projects as required.

  • Must be able to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to all levels of personnel in the Company in understandable terms.

  • Excellent verbal skills required to communicate, present ideas, concepts and solutions to all level of employees

 

 

  V. SCHEDULING AND PLANNING:

  • Must be able to schedule and organize time to efficiently complete tasks
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and to organize and prioritize workload

 

 

 VI. BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: 

Bachelor’s degree or above with major in Accounting and Finance. (preferably from 211/985 universities)

REQUIRED / MANDATORY EXPERIENCE: 

Over 6 years’ working experience in manufacturing finance

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: 

Solid foundation in accounting principles and cost accounting.

Familiarity with PRC GAAP/US GAAP and supporting financial audits.

Experience in a manufacturing environment and with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) preferred.

 

PRIORITIES: 

  • 1) Ability to support manufacturing cost accounting​ and to collaborate with plant operations​ on data compilation for planning.
  • 2) Solid experience in participating in the monthly close process​ and in supporting accounts payable, cash management, and internal controls.
  • 3) Ability to apply PRC & US GAAP knowledge​ to daily tasks and to assist effectively with the annual statutory audit.

OTHER SKILLS:

 

English CET 6, fluent in English communication. Familiar with office software.
