In Hungary Bourns Inc. has two sites, in Ajka and Veszprém. In Ajka we have our automotive manufacturing activities, while in Veszprém we have no manufacturing but development and sales activities. At our sites we provide an inspiring and creative environment that guarantees the development of new ideas and innovative solutions in the long term.

TEST ENGINEER

We are seeking a Test engineer, who is responsible for a variety of engineering projects and tasks including the design, planning, and manufacturing of electronic components, products and systems that are used in the development of products for applications and markets served by the business unit.

 

YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Performance in standard general engineering assignments involving analysis, design or testing to develop design options or recommendation
  • Operating, setting up and programming test equipment
  • Product failure analysis, CV, DV and PV tests, various experimental measurements, documentation
  • Supporting R&D projects
  • Developing and maintaining test methods, test matrices, validation processes
  • Participation in the development of new test equipment specifications and equipment commissioning

 

YOU ARE THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IF:

  • you have a degree in engineering or equivalent experience
  • you have minimum 2 years related engineering experience
  • you have knowledge in automotive standards
  • you have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • you have the ability to perform statistical analyses using spreadsheets and other software tools
  • you have the ability to use various laboratory equipment, test systems and fabrication systems
  • you have good communication skills
