Job Description:

Application Engineer - Resistors

As an Application Engineer – Resistors, you will serve as the technical expert for our full resistor product portfolio, including manufactured and sourced components. Supporting the Product Line Manager and working closely with Sales and Field Application Engineers, you will help identify new business opportunities and guide new product development initiatives. Your role will focus on product applications, lifecycle management, creation and maintenance of data sheets and technical documentation, competitive market analysis, marcom support, and delivering product training to internal teams and customers.

Every day, you have the opportunity to: 

  • technical support for Sales, FAEs and Quality teams
  • interpreting customer requirements and recommending suitable products
  • assisting on customer and sales team visits
  • coordinating new product development and full product lifecycle
  • managing NPI, PCN and POM communication
  • maintaining technical documentation and training materials
  • providing field training and customer presentations
  • monitoring technology and competitive trends

 

Your profile: 

  • Mechanical or Electrical engineering Degree or related technical background
  • At least 5 years of experience in electronic components industry
  • Experience with passive components and semiconductors is an advantage
  • Strong communication (oral and written form) and collaboration skills
  • Proactive, customer-focused approach and strong organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines regularly
  • Fluency in English. Prior experience of working in an international team is an advantage. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP and CRM software
  • Experience with test equipments (such as LCR, Microhm meter, etc.) is a plus
  • Experience with CAD/ProE/SolidWorks is a plus
