Job Description:

  1. JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for coordinating, monitoring prototype runs and new products for the different customers, as well as managing the system for engineering changes (processes/products), introduction and generation of packaging specifications for finished product, APQP administrator, lay out changes, BOM elaboration, PRS, quotes of new products/samples, and validation of pilot runs (Run and Rate).  Focuses on the performance of measurable deliveries on time, as well as closing engineering changes.

  1. JOB RESPONSABILITIES:
  • Responsible for coordinating the available resources from the planning stage to the shipment of prototype models as well as new products that are requested.
  • Responsible for managing the introduction of a new model that affects form, function, and attributes through the APQP system
  • Responsible for documenting the validation of the run and rate
  • Must document the final evaluation of the new models through a board with the support of the multidisciplinary team of the corresponding production line.
  • Responsible for creating the bill of materials for new products
  • Must carry out the introduction, evaluation and implementation of packaging for finished product.
  • Filling in information for the forms sent by the different clients.
  • Feedstock introduction, evaluation, validation and implementation
  • Responsible for implementing changes in plant design once they are approved by management.
  • Apply every day the Lean Manufacturing and 5'Ss culture

  • Stop any production or administrative process that could threaten the integrity of the company's people, products or assets, including equipment and facilities.
  • Stop any production process that is suspicious or has been confirmed, of generating products that do not meet our quality standards.
  • Stop the production of a product or products that are generating quality problems.
  • Stop any activity, substance, product, process when

detects that it causes a direct environmental impact or that fails to comply with any compliance requirement.

Education: The position requires a career in Industrial Engineering.

Work Experience: One Year in a similar position.

  1. REQUIRED KNOLEDGE:

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools,5Ss, Kaizen, etc.

Knowledge of English language.

Knowledge of the procedures, manuals and instructions applicable to the position.

  1. SAFETY, HYGIENE, HEALTH AND ENVIRONMETAL REQUERIMIENTS

Knowledge in the identification of environmental aspects and impacts, compliance with environmental, health and safety legislation that applies to each area and knowledge in safety, health and environmental policy.
