Job Description:

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Results-driven Pricing Analyst with over 5 years of experience supporting global sales teams and managing strategic pricing for the Multifuse product line. Skilled in data analysis, financial modeling, and cross-functional collaboration to drive margin improvement and revenue growth. Proven ability to manage complex pricing structures, analyze market and cost trends, and support business decisions with actionable insights. Adept at working with ERP systems such as SAP and other tools. Recognized for strong communication skills, attention to details, and the ability to balance customer needs with business profitability.

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES (End Results Expected):

  1. Developed and implemented strategic pricing initiatives to support margin growth and revenue targets across the Multifuse product line.
  2. Managed customer quotes, annual contract pricing, and special sales programs; ensured accuracy and timely delivery of pricing responses.
  3. Built and maintained financial models to analyze the impact of price adjustments on gross margin, sales revenue, and quote conversion rates.
  4. Monitored and analyzed manufacturing costs, margins, and pricing by model; provided actionable insights through monthly trend reports.
  5. Collaborated cross-functionally with Sales, Product Line Managers, and Engineers to align pricing with product strategy and customer requirements.
  6. Evaluated and processed daily pricing requests and global RFQs using market data, customer usage trends, and competitive positioning.
  7. Conducted quarterly pricing and margin analyses to support strategic business initiatives and identify opportunities for improvement.
  8. Identified and addressed margin erosion issues; developed pricing solutions to optimize profitability in coordination with the sales team.
  9. Ensured pricing compliance and maintained up-to-date pricing records in SAP; supported internal audits and system integrity.
  10. Fostered strong working relationships with global Sales and Distributor teams; effectively communicated pricing rationale and supported negotiations.
  11. Performs other duties as assigned.

BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:        Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing or related areas or equivalent combination of education and work experience in sales and marketing.  

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing or customer service.
  • Familiarity with global customers and distribution business models.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, especially in handling dissatisfied customers and navigating objections to proposals.
  • Strong financial reasoning – able to clearly and logically explain decisions based on numerical analysis.
  • Engineering background is a plus.

OTHER SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in Excel – including Macros, Tables, Pivot Tables, and data analysis. 
  • Familiarity with SAP – especially in pricing, sales, and financial modules.
  • Experience with Power BI – for creating dashboards and visualizing pricing trends.
  • Strong analytical skills – solid understanding of numbers, and the ability to interpret, evaluate, and work with data to draw actionable insights.
