SUMMARY OF POSITION
Define and drive business opportunities for the Industrial, Telecom & local EMS customers. Utilize relationships, management skills and collaboration skills to identify and negotiate opportunities with direct customers resulting in growth of Point of Sales. Perform and report on market conditions and competitive products. Serve as liaison for external partners (distributors), customers and internal groups (FAE, engineering, project leader).
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIE
- Grow sales in Telecom, Industrial and other market segments stipualted by the company.
- Generate new design-ins and develop new business with OEM customers and Independent design house
- Provide techical support to assist design development with targeted customers and authorised distributors
- Track projects transferred within and outside India
- Monitor competitor activities and market changes, trends, demands, requests for new products or product requirement in targeted markets
- Generate technical documentation to support customers' applications
- Assist in organizing exhibitions, seminars and advertisng for products
- Prepare periodic activities and market reports
BASIC JOB REQUIREMENETS
EDUCATION:
Graduation from a recognized university, or equivalent education and/or experience in Electronics related with a bachelor degree or diploma.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 5 years of field experience with some or all of the years involved in electronic components sales.
OTHER SKILLS:
- Able to present confidently during customer visit
- Able to engage technical and Sales discussion with the customers
- Independent and able to make sensible decision to resolve issues with customers
- Project / Time management
- Personal relation skill
- Able to set priority of tasks given.
