I. SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Base at Bourns BTSC Shenzhen sales office in China; this position is accountable for promoting, performing and managing of sales tasks and general business-related duties.
This role is mainly responsible for sales activities assigned by company for various business relationship management such as direct customers, potential business projects, business channel partners and/or cross-region sales related activities/task to generate and create sales revenue, develop business relationship and opportunities and turn into sales revenue or design-in opportunities funnel as well as maintaining sales milestones records through company sales related system (Bourns CRM system).
II. DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES (End Results Expected):
- Manages corporate distributor locations:
- Understands the distributor organization and gives input to Bourns Management.
- Assesses the training needs of the distributor corporation and coordinates with Bourns business units and marketing teams to develop appropriate programs.
- Understands Bourns marketing strategies and the distributor’s strategies and develops appropriate programs to build on each company’s strength.
- Assesses the customer base of the distributor and develops programs to match Bourns products with market segment programs.
- Implements the short and long-range plans to successfully achieve Bourns’ market share and sales goals through distribution by product family.
- Develop sales programs to move Bourns products off of distributor shelves to the end customer.
- Makes recommendations to Sr. Sales Account Mgr. regarding changes to the distributor network.
- Drive assigned direct account business and increase sales revenue continually.
- Customer interface is required.
- Formally reports territory’s distribution activity on a monthly basis.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
