Job Description:

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Pull, pack, and process finished goods and sample order shipments, and validate incoming freight. Manage sample inventory, product returns, and internal compliance requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold operational standards and ensure system integrity. Manage the distribution of on-site package deliveries.

 

 

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Pulls documents, packs, and delivers all orders to Shipping.  Process all finished goods via the ShipERP shipping system.
  • Receives incoming stock, verifies part numbers and quantity then stocks material on shelves.
  • Process customer returns.
  • Maintain accurate stockroom inventories of finished goods and sample materials. 
  • Performs mailroom support to include delivery to appropriate departments, processing outbound mail with all departments.
  • May prepare and maintain import/export documentation.
  • Build and process sample kits when necessary.
  • Back-up to Shipping and Receiving handler
  • Collaborate as needed with cross functional teams in support of all shipping requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

 

BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or equivalent education, training and/or experience.

 

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: 

+2 years in shipping/receiving/warehouse operations

 

OTHER SKILLS:

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in mathematics and organizational management.

Willing to undergo hazardous materials training if requested to ensure CTPAT compliance.

 

EQUIPMENT OPERATED:

Computerized ShipERP shipping system, PC, hand carts, pallet jacks, calculator, mailing machine.  May need to operate forklift as needed – onsite training will be provided.

      

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:

Expected to be personable and professional, a self-starter who also collaborates well with others to support the shipping & receiving needs of the organization.

 

ORAL:

Must have great oral communications skills.

 

WRITTEN: 

Must have good written communication skills.

 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Warehouse environment. This role features a dynamic, shifting workload that varies daily based on operational needs. Candidates must be highly independent, flexible enough to adapt to changing day-to-day priorities, and capable of managing heavy volumes with minimal oversight.

 

HIRING RANGE:

$19.00 - $23.00 hourly based on experience.
