Job Description:

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Technician for the BOURNS TRIMPOT product line is responsible for supporting the manufacturing, assembly, testing, and quality assurance of TRIMPOT components. This role ensures that production processes meet established standards for precision, reliability, and efficiency. The technician will also perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

 

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve technical issues in production processes.
  2. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment (EQ) to ensure reliability and reduce downtime.
  3. Maintain equipment logs and schedule regular service.
  4. Maintain accurate records of production activities, test results, and maintenance logs.
  5. Assist in updating work instructions and process documentation.
  6. Collaborate with engineering to suggest process improvements.
  7. Support initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

  • Teamwork skills to communicate with coworkers, manufacturing team, quality lab.
  • Identify problems and find resolutions as quickly as possible.
  • Having a creative mindset, finding innovative and different ways to create/design process and products.
  • Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment

 

COMMUNICATIONS:

  • Mandarin Chinese and good command of English.

 

BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in electronics or mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Ttraining and experience: 1 year in electronics manufacturing or similar environment preferred.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Experienced in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks tooling & fixture is highly preferred.
