Title: Sr. MFG Supervisor
I. SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for daily Trimmer manufacturing and fulfillment of the production plan. Coordinate all the resources from various departments and organize the machine and operators harmoniously to 100 percent meet the production plan. Assist project leaders to improve the product quality and reduce the product cost.
II. DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- To achieve the manufacturing goal by following the production plan
- Monitoring the adequate use of manufacturing material and supply
- Execute the plan for reducing the manufacturing cost
- Ensure the discipline and safety in production lines
- Implementing the corrective action to improve the quality with the help from ENG and QA
- Scheduling the operator training according to the production plan
- Assist the new product development, process change and machine upgrade leaded by other departments
- Conduct the annual operator review and communication
- Coordinate the equipment and machine maintenance
- Complete the missions assigned by MFG manager
- Follow up the 6S actions in the production line.
- Maintain a safe working environment to comply with all regulations
III. INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
- Ability to communicate with operators, coworkers, QA, ENG, PEM engineers, and managers.
- Ability to identify problems and find resolutions as quickly as possible.
- Having a creative mindset, finding innovative and different ways to solve any issues happened in manufacturing areas.
- Good teamworking skills
- Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
IV. COMMUNICATIONS:
ORAL: Mandarin Chinese and English.
WRITTEN: Excellent written skills to present ideas, concepts, and solutions via presentations, graphs, charts, documents, etc.
V. PROJECT MANAGEMENT, SCHEDULING AND PLANNING:
Good time management and project skills. Be able to evaluate priorities, plan schedule and make appropriate adjustments to meet project target on time.
VI. BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or related discipline from an accredited four-year college or university.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in component manufacturing.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience working in manufacturing or engineering departments
3. A working understanding of quality management system, such as ISO9001, ISO14000, IATF16949 etc. is desirable.
4. Experienced in statistical data analysis and experiment design will be preferred
