Description

An Operations Performance Analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing business efficiency by analyzing operational processes, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending solutions to optimize performance. They collect and interpret data related to key performance indicators, generate insights, and develop strategies to streamline operations. By collaborating with different departments, they ensure that the business meets its goals effectively and sustainably. Expertise in data analysis, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills allow these analysts to drive continuous improvement and support decision-making at various organizational levels.

 

Responsabilities

- Analyze and interpret operational performance data
- Maintain dashboards and reports for KPIs monitoring
- Collaborate to gather and translate business requirements into insights
- Conduct root cause analysis on performance issues
- Monitor daily operations to ensure adherence to standards
- Develop and implement performance metrics and benchmarks
- Present performance analysis summaries to senior management
- Create and execute action plans based on performance data
- Process large datasets for meaningful analytics
- Identify and recommend operational enhancements for continuous improvement
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis and reporting
- Track and document the impact of improvement initiatives
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Provide training on data tools and processes
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, or related field
- Proven experience as an Operations Performance Analyst or in a similar analytical role
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to interpret and manipulate large datasets
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with operational performance metrics and KPIs
- Experience with root cause analysis and identifying improvement opportunities
- Solid understanding of data validation and auditing processes
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of industry best practices in operational performance analysis
- Demonstrated ability to create actionable insights from data
- Experience with continuous improvement processes and methodologies
- Capacity to stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in data analytics.
