Job Description:

OBJETIVE OF THE POSITION

Supervise the work of all electronic areas of the Equipment Engineering department, including coordination with supervisors, technicians, administrative staff and manufacturers of internal, external and other parts of the plant. Analyze the feasibility of projects by quoting the requirements and making technical/electronic design decisions so that the planned project objectives are fully achieved.
POSITION FUNCTIONS
• Follow established procedures to meet customer requirements.
• Complete the documents required to control the process.
• Support continuous improvement processes that allow the development of Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
• Promptly communicate to your immediate boss, Manufacturing, Production, Quality and/or Technical Services when problems arise in the workplace.
• Control the inventories that correspond to them in their area of ​​responsibility as established in the area.
• Lead the electronic automation systems of the projects.
• Analyze and budget new projects corresponding to the electronic part.
• Review, coordinate and supervise each of the electronic areas of the projects.Investigate and study new technological options in the field of electronics, as well as validate and conclude in this regard.
• Review electronic technical details both in the wiring area and in the PLC and Lab View programming part.
• Review the Technical Manuals and recommend inventory maintenance of critical parts.
• Coordinate directly with the mechanical part of the projects and monitor the on-time delivery of the project.
• Follow up on matters related to Human Resources in terms of vacations, overtime, permits, etc. of the personnel directly reporting to you.
• Review and purchase electronic technical requirements.
• Analyze existing machine programs to provide solutions and new ideas to improve systems and/or required technology changes.
• Provide support to engineers in the process areas in the timely solution of electronic problems.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor or Graduate in Electronic Engineering.
  • More than 5 years of experience in similar tasks.
  • High command of computer tools: Word, Excel, Power Point, Access
  • High management of programming packages, PLC (Omrom, Direct Logic, G Fanuc).
  • High knowledge in electrical and electronic design (Automation).
  • Personnel management and organization of daily tasks.
  • High level of knowledge of software for electrical documentation.
  • High knowledge of HMI's (Lab View & Softpanels).
  • Interpretation of plans.
  • High management of electronic security requirements associated with projects (Desirable).
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis tools (Desirable).
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Systems (Desirable).
  • Medium/high command of English.
  • Teamwork and Customer Service.
