Job Description:

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

 

Junior Marketing Engineer (Protection Division) supports global marketing execution by developing high-impact collateral and digital content in partnership with Product Lines and MARCOM—presentations, datasheets, web, video, and distributor pages. The role also supports competitive online calculators, reference-design awareness, and targeted campaigns (including social media), promoting both standard and custom solutions across key segments such as datacenter, EV, AI, renewables, and energy storage.

 

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Develop and update marketing collateral (presentations, datasheets, brochures, app notes).
  • Partner with Product Line and MARCOM to ensure accuracy, messaging, and brand consistency.
  • Maintain and improve website content for products, solutions, and capabilities.
  • Support creation of videos, demos, and other digital content for campaigns.
  • Help build and maintain online calculator / selection tools vs. key competitors.
  • Promote reference designs and enable broader reuse through internal and external channels.
  • Assist with marketing campaigns, including email, web, and social media execution.
  • Communicate custom solution capabilities (engineering, test, simulation, prototyping, production).
  • Tailor messaging by application and segment (Datacenters, EV, MILAERO, renewables, energy storage).
  • Coordinate with distributors and catalog houses to improve listings, content quality, and visibility.
  • Briefing stakeholders on marketing materials production (PR, Media, Advertising) and updating progress.

 

BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics preferably) and/or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, or related field with experience working with engineers to draft top quality content.

 

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: 

Demonstrated ability to perform the above functions. Prior work assignments in engineering-related activities preferred. 

 

OTHER SKILLS

Strong technical writing and communication skills; proficient in Excel, MS Office, and technical writing tools; motivated, organized, and eager to learn;

 

EQUIPMENT OPERATED:

Telephone, personal computer, and various software

 

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:

Excellent interpersonal skills and be comfortable working with a range of levels and teams. A high level of English communication is required for clear customer communication globally. Excellent communication skills required to present materials as well as the ability to decipher the needs of others. Excellent written and presentation skills required to present complex issues and strategies.

 

ORAL:

Strong oral communication that can communicate a high level of creative thinking.

 

WRITTEN

Creative writing style to ensure content is created that is consistent and attractive to targeted end customers.

 

 SCHEDULING AND PLANNING:

Scheduling and planning is a key aspect to ensure campaigns are launched on time and all key activities are achieved and met. High-level creative thinking and design capabilities - while keeping an eye on budgets and business guidelines/policies. Proficiency in turning projects around with tight timeframes and deadlines. Excellent planning and organization skills and be confident with budgeting and project management.

 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Work will be performed primarily in an office environment with occasional time spent in a laboratory environment.

 

HIRING RANGE:

$80,000 – $100,000 annually
