ROLE OF THE POSITION
Ensure the availability of equipment and its facilities through technical input (mechanical or electronic) in tasks related to maintenance engineering, parts manufacturing, and project and spare parts engineering, in order to minimize downtime and achieve the department's objectives. Verify the quality and manufacturing times of assigned parts in the Tool Shop area, ensuring proper use of the area's equipment and tooling. RESPONSIBILITIES
•Perform corrective, preventive, and/or predictive maintenance in a timely manner to minimize downtime by developing strategies that reduce corrective maintenance and with a greater focus on prevention and optimization. • Develop work plans based on the OEE indicators of the areas under their responsibility. • Manufacture mechanical parts using CNC, automatic, and manual equipment. • Perform specialized technical work in adjustment, calibration, verification, repair, corrective and preventive maintenance, and debugging of equipment for the production process. • Perform part and tool setups on machines, among other tasks. • Load and verify the programs provided by the programmer for part manufacturing. •Verify that the parts comply with the dimensions and details of the plans. • Keep your workstation clean and tidy, as well as provide support and follow-up on positions undergoing training to ensure compliance with the 6Ss. • Fulfill the responsibilities of your position regarding occupational health, hygiene, and the environment, and report to your immediate supervisor any anomalies detected that threaten staff safety. • Perform other duties related to your position and as assigned by your immediate supervisor.
