Title: Intern Engineering Senior
- SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Under close supervision, performs engineering-related assignments as part of a cross-functional team. This may include utilizing advanced engineering software to support senior engineers and designers in various project tasks, collaborating with cross functional teams to gain a deep understanding of component design, manufact uring, and marketing aspects, conducting tests, analyzing results, proposing improvements, and contributing to program development.
- SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Utilize advanced engineering software packages to support senior engineers and designers in various project tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain a deep understanding of component design, manufacturing, and marketing aspects.
- Assist in conducting tests and analyzing results to ensure design integrity and propose improvements.
- Contribute to the development of new programs and assist in program management.
- Maintain engineering records and actively participate in ongoing division programs or initiatives.
- Support engineers in generating key program management documents, including specifications, estimates, and reports.

Must be able to participate in team projects.
IV. COMMUNICATIONS:
ORAL: Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.
WRITTEN: Possess ability to produce written communications, prepare reports and documentation that are clear and concise.
V. SCHEDULING AND PLANNING:
Must be able to work to the schedule described in a project plan.
VI. BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Successful completion of three years of college from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in Engineering required.
EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated ability to perform the above functions. Prior work assignments in engineering-related activities preferred.
OTHER SKILLS: AutoCAD and Pro-E training and/or other manufacturing software a plus.
