About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and strategic Human Resources Manager for our Germany operations. Reporting directly to the HR Director, EMEA, this role requires an expert in HR practices with a passion for supporting and developing a cohesive, high-performance company culture. The Human Resources Manager will partner closely with the executive team to align HR systems with our mission and values and will lead our HR team in Munich and Göttingen, ensuring operational excellence across all facets of HR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition and Retention: Manage end-to-end recruitment, collaborate with hiring managers on candidate selection, expand talent pipelines, and develop effective retention strategies.
- Employee Development: Provide guidance on performance management, conduct exit interviews, develop succession planning strategies, and support career development initiatives. Design and implement training programs, support employee growth, and maintain training records to ensure compliance.
- Labor Relations: Manage relationships with Works Councils, handle complex disciplinary issues, and lead HR communication efforts.
- HR Systems and Compliance: Collaborate on global HR projects, ensure compliance with IATF standards, oversee HR systems including SAP SuccessFactors, and support GDPR requirements.
- Compensation and Benefits: Advise on salary planning, maintain internal equity, and manage payroll and benefits administration.
- Company Culture: Fosters a cohesive and inclusive company culture that strengthens employee relations and enhances workplace engagement.
- Health & Safety: Oversee the EHS function, maintain compliance, and ensure a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in HR, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of German labor law.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (SAP SuccessFactors preferred) and MS Office.
- Experience in automotive quality standards (IATF) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in German and English.
